The extensive range of Proware RAID systems have numerous features including MAID (Massive Array Idle Disk), support RAID levels RAID 0, 1 (0+1), 3, 5, 6, 10, 30, 50, NRAID and JBOD. RAID level 6 is also supported allows for double parity drive failure protection. Many Proware RAID systems have hot swap fans power supplies hard disks and in some instances hot swap raid controllers with 72-hour battery backup cache.
To manage and configure the arrays you have three options you can use the remote HTTP web browser, use the supplied (downloadable RAID manager) or thirdly you can connect using a console.
The extensive range of Proware RAID systems, comprise of various host attachments including fibre channel via direct point-to-point or through a fibre channel switch, DAS (direct attached) SAS / SCSI using a SAS / SCSI controller card, iSCSI network attached through software or hardware, NAS, FireWire, USB and eSATA. Many of the Raid systems within this site support the latest generation of SAS and SATA disk drives which can be be 2 TB in the case of SATA or 600 GB in the case of SAS running at 15k rpm. The RAID systems provide provide excellent cooling and power savings using the built-in MAID technology
